Weatherhead Hockey Club are hoping to maintain their good run in the league as they face Titans on Sunday at Lugogo Hockey Stadium.

The 2021 Uganda Cup and league champions are yet to lose a game this season after securing two crucial victories that have put them in second place.

One of the club’s most improved players is Peter Walusansa, and he believes his side can now confidently pose a threat to all the potential title contenders.

“We are now putting into practice what we learnt in Nairobi last month and we can assure our opponents today to expect goals,” Walusansa said.

“This season, we want to replicate the 2021 season by winning the Uganda Hockey League and the Uganda Cup.”

Weatherhead is yearning for maximum points in their third league game as they face pointless Titans.

However, Titans cautioned Weatherhead not to be complacent.

“We are coming for our first three points of the season,” Titans warned.
