Uganda's Rock settle for bronze after beating Kenya at Africa Netball Cup

The men's netball team, the Rock, settled for bronze after convincingly beating Kenya, the hosts, 46–35 in the third-place classification match.
This is Uganda's best performance at the continental level, following their fifth-place finish at last year's Africa Netball Cup in Malawi.
Team coach Jesse Asiimwe attributed the good performance to teamwork and hard work.
"I am very proud of my team and I am glad that we are going back with a bronze. We wanted a gold but things didn't go as planned," Asiimwe said.
The 2026 Africa Netball Cup concludes on September 26 in Nairobi, Kenya.
Uganda was represented by two teams, the Rock and the She Cranes.
