Uganda Golf Open tees off with strong international field

The main event of the Johnnie Walker Uganda Golf Open tees off on Tuesday at Uganda Golf Club in Kitante, where fans can look forward to another exciting and competitive championship.
Ugandan golfers, led by defending champion Joseph Cwinyaai, will take on tough competition from a strong group of international players in this year’s 72-hole event.
The Ugandan team includes Juma Abiti, who is in great form after recently winning the Tanna Memorial and Watoto Golf Championship. Other local players, Lawrence Walakira, Joseph Kasozi, John Musiimenta, Titus Okwong, and former champion Reagan Akena, are all too familiar with the Kitante course and should also put up a strong challenge. With this strong lineup, fans can expct an exciting contest on the par-72 course.
