Wananchi Sports Club midfielder Emmanuel Baguma feels confident that his side can beat KHC Stallions to clinch the Uganda Cup.

Wananchi needs a win over an improved KHC stallions team to claim a  double this season after winning the National  Hockey League title. 

"Our ambition this season is to win a double. With the league already in our hands, we are to do the needful to win the Uganda Cup," Baguma said.

Wananchi were unable to clinch any silverware last season but have transformed into victors this season, winning the league, Independence Cup, and Memorial Shield, and are now eyeing the Uganda Cup.

Wananchi, come into the final after knocking out defending champions Weatherhead  5-3  in the semifinals, while the Stallions come into the game after thrashing MUJ stingers 9-4 in the semis.

Wananchi's ability to move the balls fast from the midfield to forwards makes them a team to beat. However, Stallions are no pushovers.
