It came off Ronald Ebulu’s bat, inspiring Soroti to a two-wicket victory over Kings College Budo. It was the second of two meetings between the two sides on the day, with the first having similarly gone Soroti’s way.

Budo were held to 91/5 in their allotted overs in the first game, with Steven Okiror scoring a game-best 30 runs. Ahmed Ibad added 27 runs. For Soroti, it was Allan Nabugyere and Richard Oluka, who top scored with 21 runs apiece as Soroti raced to 95/7 in 14.3 overs.

In the Damani – Africa T20 double header, Lutaaya’s 45 off 48 was the best individual score, although it could not save the former from avoiding, in the morning clash, which the defending champions won by seven runs.

Miyagi’s 41 was the pick of the batting in the second meeting, helping Damani to a four-wicket victory. Damani stretched their lead atop Group A to 10 points, four ahead Aziz Damani development.
