“Yes we came up with the innovation to inspire our children and we are ready for the show,” event manager Joseph Opio said.

“We shall do two heats in the 85cc and if the child starts heat one, then the parent will go in heat two using that same bike and the winner will receive a good prize including sh500, 000.”

Ali Omar sr will pair up with his son Waleed Omar but he has requested to be allowed to use a bigger bike or hire a mercenary to represent him.

“I’m ready for the challenge, but the only problem is the 85cc bike. It is too small for me. I will break it,” Omar who weighs close to 130kgs said.

“I know even Barak Orland and Ronald Sebuguzi cannot fit on the 85cc bikes. So, I request they give us at least 125cc bikes or allow us to hire mercenaries.”

When contacted, Barak said,” I’m ready and just waiting for the day.”

Stiff competition is expected between teams that include, Ssebuguzi and son Gift Sebuguzi, Barak and son Alon Orland, Ashraf Mbabazi and son Ashi Mbabazi Junior, Tonny Akaaki and son Milton Akaaki, Robert Mawanda, and son Jeremiah Mawanda.

Others are Julius Bukenya and son Marcus Bukenya, Peter Ndiwalana and son Kreidah Nsubuga and Godfrey Lubega aka tall man as son Emmanuel Lubega.
