Stanbic Bank Uganda Cup nine-time winners SC Villa are looking to make it to the round of 32 when they face Kireka United FC today at Kings Park playground.

Villa head coach Jackson Magera is hopeful that his side has whatever it takes to go far in the competition.

“It has been a while now since we last played a competitive game and the Uganda Cup game against Kireka will be a perfect test for our players,” Magera said.

“We broke off in what I would call a fair run of form in the league and we want to see the response of the players. Such competition  provides us with a perfect chance to win silverware I know it is still in the initial stages but we shall not take the game against Kireka for granted."

In another fixture, North Eastern region side Apuutun will also take on  FUFA Big league outfit Police FC at Tubur P/s playground in Soroti.
