Uganda Premier League teams Maroons FC and Blacks Power FC will commence their 2022/23 Stanbic Uganda Cup campaign on matchday 5 of the Round of 64 on Thursday.

Maroons visit Kampala Region side Kisugu United FC at Bugolobi Coffee Grounds while Blacks Power will be away to North Eastern Region side Bukedea Central FC at Emokori Grounds in Bukedea.

Maroons head coach Muhammad Ssenfuma has warned his players against underestimating their opponents.

“There is a gap in the leagues because Kisugu plays in the regional League while we play in the Uganda Premier League," Ssenfuma said.

“But this does not mean anything because football is beyond where one plays and they can shock us on their best day. Therefore, we should not undermine them. We expect to go all out and play well and hopefully we shall win and advance to the next stage.” noted Ssenfuma

Meanwhile, Western region side Gorilla Highland SC  hosts Big league outfit Kataka Fc at Mashaka playground in Kisoro.
