Reigning junior table tennis champion Ssebatindira sets targets

Reigning national junior table tennis champion Joseph Ssebatindira is aiming to emulate his idol Ma Long.

The 8-year-old star who features for Nakasero Table Tennis Club revealed this after his recent success during his first international tour in Algeria.

"Someday, I hope I can get the chance to train in China because I love to learn from star player Ma Long. He is such an intelligent player who uses his forehand very well and from another great star Omar Assar who has a very good backhand," said Ssebatindira.

Ssebatindira is meanwhile getting more lessons from three time Olympian Mary Musoke who believes that the youngster has a bright future to relate with the finest stars in the game.
