Last year, the Ndejje Angels were dogged by relegation all season before mounting a heroic end-of-season rally, underlined the stunning win over the City Oilers.
In the end, Ndejje not only survived relegation but even reached the playoffs.
Almost halfway through this regular season, the Angels are bottom of the National Basketball League (NBL), having lost seven of nine games. Today at Lugogo, Ndejje’s woes will get worse if, that is, they do not find a way to break their losing streak against university rivals UCU Canons.
