Morocco became the first nation to reach the 2026 FIFA World Cup quarterfinals when they beat co-hosts Canada 3-0 in Houston, USA on Saturday.

Azzedine Ounahi beat Canadian goalkeeper Maxime Crépeau with a low sweeping shot five minutes into the second half.
Ounahi completed his brace with another well worked goal in the 82nd minute, before Soufiane Rahimi wrapped up Morocco's victory with a stoppage-time third goal and sealed progression to the quarters.
Mohamed Ouahbi's side will face the winner between Paraguay and 2018 winners France, who play a few hours later.
