Kickoff at 10am

Kampala Queen's 100 percent winning start to this season’s FUFA Women Super League will be tested today as they host second-placed and still unbeaten Uganda Martyrs High School Lubaga at IUIU grounds Kabojja.

The Queens have set the bar high winning all their games and scoring eight goals and conceding only three.

Among the teams, they have beaten is the reigning champions She Corporate whom they gunned down 2-1 away in Nakawa.

Last week, they beat Makerere University 1-0, with new signing and the league’s all-time top scorer Hasifa Nassuna scoring.

Nassuna, Resty Nanziri, and assistant captain Shamirah Nalugya are the players expected to lead the search for goals for Kampala Queens today.

Kampala Queen's assistant head coach Ssenyange Kato has made it clear to his players that they must remain focused to win all their first-round games to realize their goal of winning the league.

“It is a good start so far for us, these are the fruits of our hard work throughout the preseason, the goal is one and that is to win the league. The players must remain focused more so today when we face a strong team,” Ssenyange stated.

Uganda Martyrs on the other hand have also started the season brilliantly, winning two and drawing one, their last game was a 1-1 draw against She Corporate at home.

Uganda Martyrs forward Latifah Nankasi has found the back of the net three times in three games, and she is expected to lead the line again.

The last meeting between the two ended in 1-1 and it is this stalemate that denied Kampala Queens the title.
