After announcing their arrival in the National Basketball League (NBL) with three consecutive wins, the JT Jaguars have found the going tough lately, dropping three in a row.

Today is a good opportunity to stop the rot as they face the Kampala Rockets at the YMCA.

The Rockets are similarly on a three-game losing streak, and currently have more losses in the league than anyone else, having dropped eight of seven in total.

The Rockets survived relegation from the NBL by a whisker last season, and they are once again caught in a fight for survival.

Sudi Ulanga’s Jaguars started the campaign looking like a sure playoff candidate, picking up wins over Livingstone, Ndejje Angels, KCCA Panthers. However, losses to the UCU Canons, Our Savior and Namuwongo have slowed down Fadhil Chuma and Co., and raised questions about their playoff credentials.

A win today would get the Jaguars back on course, while for the Rockets, it would be a massive boost to their survival aspirations.

The KIU Titans are also back in action for the first time since their 63-72 loss to the City Oilers. Julius Lutwama’s men take on Our Savior, who will be looking for their second win in a row.

Ndejje (2-4) and the JKL Dolphins (1-4) also face off.
