FUFA executive to visit regional associations

The FUFA Executive will conduct a country-wide tour of the eight regional football associations starting this week.

The visits that will be led by FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo will include meeting with the lower league clubs and other football stakeholders and also members of the Regional Football Associations.

The eight regions are West Nile, Northern, North East, Eastern, Buganda, Kampala, Western, and Kitara Region Football Association.

 

The executive will meet respective Regional Football Association (RFA) Executive members, the respective District Football Association (DFA) Executive members, the National Delegates from the respective District Football Associations (DFA), one representative from each club in the men’s 3rd division league, one representative from each of the men’s 4th division league and a representative from each of the women’s 3rd division league.

From the FUFA communication, the main objectives of the tour is to explain the detailed programs of FUFA regarding grassroots football, hear first-hand challenges faced by lower leagues in Uganda, respond to issues raised by the football and other stakeholders, and then agree on a way forward.

According to the program released, the Magogo-led tour will first meet Kampala region between Wednesday, March 27 to March 30 before going to Eastern on April 2.
