DECEMBER 21, 2025 TO JANUARY 18, 2026 ________________________
📍 CASABLANCAHis Majesty King Mohammed VI has rolled out a royal welcome to all the 24 teams that are contesting for honors in Africa’s premier competition – the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. The tournament that kicked off on Sunday in Rabat, will roll through the festive season before the curtains come down on January 18, 2026.

And for the first time in the tournament’s history, all the participating teams have been provided with five-star amenities across the six host cities.
In what already looks like an excellent demonstration of the kingdom’s commitment to growing the hospitality industry in the country,
Vision Sports has decided to profile the high-end hotels and luxurious training bases that are providing an all-inclusive experience for the AFCON teams in each city.
When it comes to exploring cities in Morocco, every destination has its own unique vibe — from golden beaches to ancient medinas.
I have been fortunate enough to visit and explore six of the country´s most fascinating destinations — Casablanca, Rabat, Marrakech, Tangier, Fez and Agadir. I have also been fortunate to sleep in some of the AFCON hotels and resorts in my last four visits to Morocco.

Over the next four days, I will rely on my experience in Morocco and booking sites (although it is not entirely safe to judge a hotel solely by the way it looks on site) and profile each team hotel/Team Base Camp and how much it could cost you for a night.
This four-part series starts with Casablanca, Morocco’s economic capital that is located on the Atlantic coast.
The city hosts all the teams in Group A (Mali, Zambia, Comoros, Burkina Faso, Equatorial Guinea and Sudan) with the exception of host nation Morocco and Algeria from Group E.
