Uganda v Bahrain 

Uganda bounced back from the crushing defeats to Italy and Hong Kong to secure an eight-wicket win over Singapore that calmed racked nerves.

Most importantly, it left Uganda one win away from accomplishing the mission.

The Cricket Cranes are looking to advance to the 2027 Cricket World Cup Qualifier Play-off, which they will do if they finish in the top two of the ICC World Challenge League B in Tanzania. That will come down to the game against Bahrain tomorrow at the University of Dar es Salaam Ground 2, which Uganda will be confident of winning.

Uganda assistant coach Jackson Ogwang was grateful for the win over Singapore, which ended the slide and set the Cricket Cranes back on the winning path.

“Most definitely, you would want to go into another game with a winning momentum,” said Ogwang. “This win definitely gives us a boost. In the last game against Bahrain. We just want to continue with what we did today and pick two more points and see what happens at the end of it all.”

Bahrain are already eliminated from contention, having lost eight of their 14 games so far.
