After their stunning loss to GM Sugar last time out, Tornado Bees returned to winning ways in the CU Men’s 50 Overs League with an eight-wicket victory over Rounders at Entebbe.
Tornado Bees’ Hamid Munigwa took a game-best 5/48 as the Rounders were bowled out for 124 in 42.2 overs, a low return that left the outcome of the contest in little doubt.
Aman Singh scored a team-best 53 runs, but he did not get enough support from his Rounders teammates.

Numan Mohammed with 19 and Calvin Watuwa with 12 also reached double figures for the Rounders, but their efforts were ultimately of little avail. Their opponents made sure of that.
Having done most of the work with the ball, having won the toss and opted to field. The chase was fairly straightforward. Anas Baig smashed a game-best 67, David Musoke 24, Yadav Chanchal and Suleman Shariff added 15 as Tornado Bees raced to 128 in 27.4 and a comfortable victory.
With it, third-placed Tornado Bees moved to six points, level on points with leaders Kutchi Tigers and GM Sugar in second place.
Sugar defeated Mukono by five wickets at home to move to three wins in four games. Vinitkumar Patel was the star of the show, plucking 7/19 in seven overs for Sugar. Mukono slipped to fifth in the Gold division following their second defeat in three games.
