Refactory graduates showcase innovation at Clarke International University

Innovation and practical problem-solving took center stage at Clarke International University as Refactory Academy celebrated the graduation of learners trained in various digital skills programmes.


The ceremony brought together graduates, industry leaders, trainers, and partners like the Mastercard Foundation to recognise students who completed courses in Software Development, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, Product Design, and Software Engineering.

Speakers at the event encouraged graduates to remain innovative and continue applying their digital skills to address everyday challenges in communities and businesses. They also emphasised the importance of continuous learning, networking, and adaptability in an evolving digital economy.

Refactory Executive Director Michael Niyitegeka noted that the institution remains committed to equipping young people with practical digital competencies while linking them to employment opportunities in Uganda and beyond.

The event concluded with graduates being challenged to use technology as a tool for creating solutions, driving innovation, and contributing to economic growth.

The 10X Program is led by Outbox (U) Ltd and the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF), in collaboration with Refactory and Women in Technology Uganda, and in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation.
