Students of Kololo Senior Secondary School have showcased some of their green initiatives to fight climate change.
Their eco-friendly innovations are part of the Green Schools project.
The exhibition was on Friday as they hosted a delegation from the water ministry, the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) plus the Swedish International Development Agency's assistant director general and head of Africa department, Ulf Kjallstig.
Vision Group's Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Don Wanyama and the delegation toured some exciting smart projects by the Kololo Green Flora Club which create awareness and sensitization on environmental management issues.
The visit is part of an array of activities under the Green Schools project which New Vision is implementing in partnership with the FAO of the United Nations with financing from the Embassy of Sweden in Uganda.
