📸: National climate change Green Schools debate preliminary rounds under-way

The National Climate Change Debate preliminary rounds are underway at Kololo Senior Secondary School in Kampala.

The programme that started at 8:00 am is expected to end at 6: 00 pm after which the teams that will have qualified are to take part in the finals on Wednesday 30th at Makerere University.

A total of 30 schools—the top three schools representing each of the 10 regions have converged in the school hall for a briefing before breaking into pairs for the real debate tournament.

The national climate change debate championship is a culmination of regional tournaments held between June 4-26, 2023.
