Bezel-less phones, bendable laptops and smarter tech put TECNO in the spotlight

What if your phone had almost no borders, your laptop could bend to fit whatever you were doing, and your everyday tech felt a little more personal?

That’s the direction TECNO is exploring at IFA ShowStoppers 2026 in Berlin, where the brand is bringing together a collection of smartphones, laptops and smart devices built around the way people actually live today;  working, studying, creating, staying connected and switching between entertainment and productivity.

For Ugandan consumers, where one device often has to do a little bit of everything, TECNO’s latest showcase offers an interesting look at where everyday technology could be headed.

One of the biggest attractions is TECNO’s Next-Gen Bezelless Concept Phone, making its first in-person appearance at IFA ShowStoppers.

Following the attention generated by TECNO’s Modular Concept Phone at MWC 2026, the new concept takes the full-screen smartphone a step further with what TECNO describes as an industry-first true 0mm display border.

In simple terms, that means pushing the screen right to the edge and removing the tiny black border that usually sits between the display and the phone’s frame.

Behind the sleek look is some serious engineering, including a redesigned internal structure and new ways of packaging the screen. The result is a phone designed to make the display feel even more immersive,  and the device itself even more futuristic.

TECNO is also putting flexibility at the centre of its laptop lineup with the MEGABOOK T15 360 Pro.

As the name suggests, its 360° hinge allows the laptop to move between different positions, while a 10-point touchscreen makes interacting with it more natural. It can shift from a traditional laptop for work or school to a more relaxed setup for watching videos, browsing or getting creative.

Under the hood, the T15 360 Pro features the latest Intel Core Ultra processor with an integrated NPU, along with a 70Wh battery. Its 15.6-inch 2.5K 120Hz touchscreen is designed to make everything from everyday work to entertainment feel smoother, while optional MPP 2.0 active pen support adds another layer for note-taking and creative work.

In other words, it’s designed for those days when your laptop needs to be a workstation in the morning, a study partner in the afternoon and an entertainment screen by evening.

The T15 360 Pro is joined by two other new laptops. The MEGABOOK K15S WCL focuses on everyday computing at a more accessible price point, while the MEGABOOK T17 Ultra is aimed at users who want a much bigger screen and more power.

The T17 Ultra is TECNO’s first 17-inch laptop and packs an NPU-enabled Intel Meteor Lake Ultra processor, a 99.99Wh battery and 100W GaN fast charging, a combination designed for demanding work, multitasking and creative use.

TECNO is also bringing a touch of Italian flair to IFA through its collaboration with Tonino Lamborghini.

The partnership brings together distinctive Italian-inspired design and TECNO’s technology across a range of devices.

Coming in Q4, the TECNO MEGAPAD 2 Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition will bring the same design character to an 11-inch AI tablet with a 2.5K eye-care display.

There’s even a gaming PC in the mix: the TECNO TAURUS (MEGA MINI G1 Pro), described by TECNO as the world’s smallest water-cooled gaming PC. Its compact all-metal body gets a colourful RGB treatment inspired by the Tonino Lamborghini aesthetic.

TECNO’s IFA showcase isn’t only about futuristic concepts. The brand is also highlighting a broader range of devices designed for everyday routines.

The CAMON Slim 5G and CAMON Slim put the focus on slim design, photography and practical AI features. Both measure just 6.39mm thick, with the CAMON Slim adding a 3D-curved unibody design, AI mood lighting and a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 Ultra Night Camera.

For students, the MEGAPAD SE 2 brings AI features aimed at making studying and everyday tasks more intuitive.

Meanwhile, the Watch 4 is designed for fitness and outdoor activities, while the Buds 5 are built for everyday listening, offering up to 50 hours of playtime. Their charging case can also double as a phone stand — a small detail that could prove surprisingly useful.

TECNO’s presence at IFA 2026 is ultimately about more than showing off new gadgets. It’s a glimpse at a future where technology is expected to be more flexible, more personal and better suited to the many roles our devices play every day.
