More and more Ugandans are taking up running international marathons. You may not see them on TV during the major marathons, but they are always there somewhere in the middle. They have a Ugandan flag to wave at the finish, following the tradition of Stephen Kiprotich, who famously ran waving the flag as he won Uganda’s first ever marathon Olympic gold medal.
