You are in luck if you have information and are willing to share it with the Police leading to the arrest of one of the suspects implicated in the murder of a Buganda kingdom clan leader.

This is because, according to Police spokesperson Fred Enanga, they have placed a bounty of shillings 10 million on Bbosa Tabula after preliminary investigations show that he is the alleged mastermind of the gruesome killing of Ndiga clan leader Eng. Daniel Bbosa.

Bbosa, 72, was shot dead on February 25, 2024, as he returned to his home at about 6:00 pm by people riding on a motorcycle. He was laid to rest on Sunday in the Mpigi district.

According to Enanga, the suspect and several others still on the run, are wanted by the Kibuli-based Directorate of Criminal Investigation Department.

"The Joint Crime Intelligence and CID appeals to whoever has intelligence or information that will lead to his arrest and prosecution to pass it in confidence to the nearest Police station or ring CID headquarters on telephone number 0741111333," he said.

Enanga, who was on Monday addressing the media during the weekly joint security briefing at Police headquarters Naguru in Kampala, said Tabula is believed to be hiding on the islands.

According to him, they have since arrested seven people in connection to the killing.

"These seven together with other perpetrators still at large are connected to killers including Serukuma Enoch, and Lujja Noah," he said.

The former was lynched at the scene while the latter is currently recuperating in a hospital after surviving mob justice on the fateful day.

He said the files of those arrested have been submitted to the Director of Public Prosecution pending legal guidance on the matter.
