KCCA infighting cost taxpayers sh8b in five years — Balimwezo
Previous unending fights between politicians and the technical wing at the Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) cost taxpayers sh8b, the Lord Mayor, Ronald Balimwezo, has said. “In the endless infighting between the politicians and KCCA technical wing, the city was losing about sh8b. There was ever heavy deployment of the Police in the city, which of course took a lot of funds. And in the end, the service delivery was affected,” Balimwezo said in an interview with The New Vision.
