A resident of Ggwafu-Seeta Cell in Goma Division, Mukono Municipality, Ssentongo is said to have received treatment in India several times, the last time being in the last two weeks.

The education fraternity is mourning the death of Godfrey Ssentongo Ssempa, the former headteacher of Lubiri Senior Secondary School who had only just gone into retirement.
