BUSOGA - Busoga King William Wilberforce Gabula Nadiope IV is set to graduate with a master's degree from the prestigious US-based Yale University.

On May 19, 2025, in a teaser photo post on X, formerly Twitter, the Kyabazinga quotes Eleanor Roosevelt (The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams) and Benjamin Franklin (An investment in knowledge pays the best interest).

Vision Group CEO Don Wanyama said the Kyabazinga is graduating with a master's of Advanced Studies (M.A.S) in global affairs and has set the 'education tone' for his subjects and other young people.

"This is his second Master's degree, the first having been an MBA from Coventry University in the UK. He's also a third-year PhD student at the University of Portsmouth".

About the course

According to the university's website, M.A.S in Global Affairs is a one-year programme for mid-career professionals.

"Created in 2013, the programme is small by design, with only a few admitted students each year. The M.A.S. is aimed at professionals with extensive experience in a field of global affairs, such as, but not limited to, international security, diplomacy, and development.

The M.A.S curriculum

The website says the programme of study is customised to a student’s individual academic and professional goals. Students take eight credits in one year of full-time study*.

Part-time study is not permitted. Courses are chosen in consultation with the assistant dean for graduate education before the start of each term.

"Students have access to all of the school’s services and are welcome to work with Jackson-affiliated faculty and senior fellows to design their program of study. Joint-degree programs with the M.A.S. degree are not permitted".
