A mother recounts how her daughter was sexually abused

“My daughter was badly injured and underwent many medical procedures. But I am afraid for the unknown in future. Will she develop complications? The doctors assured me she will be okay, and I can see that, because she is fine. But sometimes I ask myself whether she will truly be fine. If she decides to become a mother, will she have children without any complications? ...that thought haunts me,” Mabel says.
