NAMUTUMBA - Lands state minister Princess Persis Namuganza, and her children and youth' counterpart Balaam Barugahara have mobilised and urged Namutumba district residents to embrace available youth livelihood programmes to develop themselves.
Namugacza, also the Bukono constituency MP, and is seeking to be re-elected for the same, hosted the event, which attracted hundreds of National Resistance Movement (NRM) supporters.
Barugahara, who was the chief guest, urged youth to make use of Emyooga, Parish Development Model (PDM), among other government programmes to alleviate themselves from poverty.
The event, dubbed 'Ekibinuko va Mundoolo' was organised under the theme, 'Breaking the barriers, building prosperity'.
