‎Shiek Musa Babanja, the retired Kadhi of Bunyoro Muslim district, reminded the leaders that public office comes with enormous expectations and demands, but urged them to remain principled. He said that the new leaders ought to usher in an era of hope for desirable transformation in all sectors of life.

Babanja challenged leaders to become strategic thinkers capable of providing practical solutions to community problems rather than spending valuable time on what he described as inconsequential political distractions. According to him, leaders should focus on initiatives that directly improve the livelihoods of their electorates.

He also encouraged leaders to actively participate in government development programs, especially agricultural initiatives, saying this would position them as role models for grassroots communities.

‎Mugisha said that his emphasis will be on service delivery and accountability to the people of Hoima district.

"Appreciating the people of Hoima for giving his team another mandate, Mugisha pledged to prioritise service delivery and improvement in the health and roads sector in the rural areas.

‎Proscovia Kobusinge, the female councillor representative for Bulindi town council, said that there was a need for the council to lobby for the extension of electricity in the rural parts of the district.

‎Emmanuel Ssempala, the Chief Administrative Officer for Hoima district, said that they are ready to support the newly elected leaders to undertake their mandate.
