Battle for DP and turncoats: Inside Mbidde plot to eject Mao
Mao, who has since returned to Cabinet as justice minister, described Mbidde and Siranda as “veranda” politicians, noting that, unlike the duo that has no locus in the body politic of the country, for him, at least he sits in Parliament and Cabinet. He added that he also leads a political party — DP.
“Siranda and Mbidde spent months de-campaigning Mao in the speakership race. They sided with Among when he needed them most. That is why Mao is annoyed. Among managed to divide the DP group..................." Kijjambu said.
