Earlier today (Wednesday, June 24) at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo, the Parliamentary Staff Team, led by State Minister for Sports Peter Ogwang, faced off against the Uganda Women's Efforts to Save Orphans (UWESO) Alumni in a friendly football match.
The game was one of the activities organised to celebrate the 78th birthday of the First Lady and Minister of Education and Sports, Mama Janet Kataaha Museveni under the “Mama at 78 Legacy Festival”, an initiative spearheaded by GEN Z for GEN 7, led by Israel Kyalisiima. Brig. Charity Bainababo was the chief guest at the event.
