Why six soldiers were arrested over Njeru Stock Farm eviction

Otafiire has since confirmed he had been informed about the arrests and evictions but called it anarchy. “What is your problem? What do you want to write? I am aware of the evictions. Is the army court to say they are giving back the land to the owners? The matter has been decided by court; don’t tell me about the army, that is anarchy,” Otafiire said, without revealing his next plan.

Otafiire claims ownership of sections of the land on Plot 3 and says he derives his title from Fred Kato Lukwaju, however, acting director of defence public information Col. Chris Magezi confirmed the arrests.
