Why govt scraped civil servants' lunch allowances
“The lunch allowance for public officers whose salaries have been enhanced will be dropped off the payroll with effect from July 2026, including those whose salary has been enhanced effective financial year 2026/2027,” reads the notice issued by the public service ministry.
