What King Charles told CDF Gen. Muhoozi during their private phone call
“In the telephone conversation, Gen. Kainerugaba appreciated the King’s message and clarity provided by Buckingham Palace on the subject, promising that UPDF would resume preparations to participate in the upcoming games,” Magezi’s statement reads.
Muhoozi also welcomed the clarification and confirmed that the Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) would take part in the Games.
