Buliisa district is recording a good turnout in Biiso Town Council, Wanseko, and Ngwedo of people updating their details in the voter register ahead of the 2026 general elections, despite low turnout in other areas.
This was revealed by Emmanuel Jessy Ndahura, the Assistant Electoral Commission Returning Officer for Buliisa District, during an exclusive interview with our reporter on Wednesday.
The returning officer is optimistic about an increase in turnout in the coming week and appealed to locals to mobilise themselves for the exercise. This will enable them to correct errors and confirm their polling stations.
