Twenty-four pastors from Bunyoro and neighbouring regions have been awarded certificates after completing a one-year theological training course.

The graduation ceremony, organised by Breaking Ground Mission, took place at Country Inn Hotel, Masindi, on April 12, 2025.

Gerald Muhwezi, the country director of Breaking Ground Mission, said that since the organisation’s establishment in 2019, it has graduated over 360 preachers.
This year, 104 pastors will graduate.

The mission has also planted over 40 churches, formed more than four evangelism teams, and led over 30,000 people to Christ.

Speaking on behalf of the graduates, William Ogenrwoth, pastor of Christian Baptist Church in Biiso, Buliisa district, praised Breaking Ground Mission for the training. He noted that it had fostered unity and cooperation among preachers.

Ogenrwoth also appealed to the organisers to consider offering the training in local languages, saying many had dropped out due to the language barrier, as classes were conducted in English.
