The Vicar General of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Kampala, the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Charles Kasibante has cautioned Christians against "spiritual mediocrity," which he said, has become one of the major challenges of the Roman Catholic faith.

He blamed people who profess to be Catholic believers, but do funny things that directly contradict the Biblical tenets. He particularly blamed people who go to the Church during day but sneak into the traditional shrines during the night.

He asked the Catholic believers to be serious followers of the faith, who also give it a perfect reflection in their words and actions.

Msgr Kasibante was presiding over the Pentecost mass at our Lady Help of the Sick Catholic parish Church, Mulago, in Kawempe Division.
