Kiira Police region spokesperson James Mubi identified the deceased persons Musisi Mafabi, 22, the son of Wasukira Wadada and Byeko Onyango, the son of Mapengo of Buwekula village in Jinja city.
Buwekula is found in Mafubira ward in the city's northern division and it is one of the areas in Jinja caving in under the weight of increasing crime.
Mubi on Monday said it is alleged that the suspects before being killed and burnt, went to the home of Hussein Tenywa Waiswa in Kainogoga, Mafubira in the morning hours of July 30, 2023 and stole a cow.
