The 2024 USSSA Teso zone anticipated final match between Amus College School and Kobulubulu School was put-off.

The decision to put- off the contests followed the submission of a petition by Bukedea Comprehensive School against Kobulubulu secondary school for alleged use of non-Bonafede players.

In a petition handed over to the Teso-zone organizing committee by Prof. Jonas Gumisiriza pointed out two players with jersey numbers of the players Jazzy numbers (14) and (11) as impersonators which required thorough review and consideration.

The USSSA-Teso Zone committee led by John Robert Osuu, acknowledges the importance of fair play and transparency in all its competitions.

“We received the letter written by Bukedea comprehensive school leadership against Kobulubul secondary school regarding alleged impersonation of players, which the committee sought it wise to put-off the boy’s final,” Osuu adds  

According to Osuu, in response to Bukedea Comprehensive School's clash against Kobulubulu secondary school, the organizing committee deemed it necessary to put off the final match between defending champions Amus College School against Kobulubulu secondary school until further notice.

However, Julius Odeke games master Kobulubulu secondary schools refuted the claim saying it does not have proper evidence of the players in question, the petition lacks the necessary clarity and evidence to pursue further action.

In accordance with the principles of fairness and transparency upheld by the USSSA, it is imperative that any allegations of misconduct are supported by clear and verifiable evidence, including the names of the individuals involved.
