South African President Cyril Ramaphosa arrived in Uganda on Monday, April 15, for an official working visit aimed at bolstering bilateral ties between the two nations.

Ramaphosa was received at Entebbe International Airport by the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs in charge of Regional Affairs, John Mulimba.

President Ramaphosa was invited by President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and the two leaders are expected to meet Tuesday at State House Entebbe.

This visit marks President Ramaphosa's return to Uganda since his attendance at the 19th Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) summit in January 2024.
