Sombre mood at Ruparelia's residence after Rajiv's death

KAMPALA - It was a sombre mood at Kololo in Kampala at the home of tycoon Sudhir Ruparelia on Saturday as mourners poured in to condole with the family for the loss of his son Rajiv Ruparelia. 

Born on January 2, 1990, Rajiv Ruparelia was the only son of business tycoon Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia.





According to Police, he died after a car crash at approximately 1:54am on May 3, along the Munyonyo-Entebbe-Expressway.

The mourners, who turned up to condole with the family, included MTN Uganda chairperson Charles Mbire, former foreign affairs minister Sam Kutesa, Namibia's consul to Uganda Godfrey Kirumira, Victoria University vice chancellor Dr. Lawrence Muganga, and business people.

There was also a large number of the Indian community in Uganda and employees of the various businesses owned by Sudhir.
