Several feared dead after crash at Lugogo

KAMPALA - Several fatalities have been reported following an incident involving a Fuso truck, registration number UBF 473B, which lost control while transporting cartons of soda. 
The vehicle collided with other automobiles, motorcycles and pedestrians near the traffic lights at the Lugogo Bypass on the Kampala-Jinja Highway on Friday morning.
The crash is believed to have resulted from the truck's brake failure as it approached the traffic lights while moving from the city centre towards Nakawa.
