Vision Group’s Harvest Money Expo, which began on Friday, has left visitors all the happier for the purchases they made.
The three-day event was organised by Vision Group with sponsors including the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Uganda, ENGSOL, Tunga Nutrition, aBi Development, Pearl Bank and Uganda Development Corporation (UDC).
Other sponsors included Heifer International, Roke Telecom, the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Denmark, Pepsi and the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA).


From Kasangati, Frank Lumu had his hands full with different seedlings, including matooke, rosemary, tangerine, cinnamon, soursop, orange, mango and avocado. “I love fruit, and even my children will enjoy it,” he said.
Miriam Igihozo, an S.4 student at Extreme High School in Namayumba, was happy after buying a jackfruit seedling. “Our school supports tree planting, so we are allowed to plant trees. I have a jackfruit seedling, and I will plant it at school. I love the fruit,” she explained.
