PWD group calls for review of disability prevalence UBOS report

According to the UBOS National Population and Housing Census 2024, of the 45,935,046 people, those with disability stand at 5.7%, a figure they claim is frivolous, erroneous and obnoxious.

PWDs are seeking clarification from UBOS on the timeline for analysing and disseminating the updated disability statistics, and also inquiring about the scheduled date for the next Uganda Functional Difficulties Survey. (New Vision/Files)
