Muwengere, a scrap dealer and resident of Sagazi village in Lugazi municipality, Buikwe district, died at the scene after the tower he was unscrewing collapsed on him. A senior security officer on the team investigating the incident revealed that they were trailing a gang of about eight members from Buikwe and Mukono.

MUKONO - Security personnel have arrested the key suspect behind the gang that vandalised the 132-kilovolt Owen Falls-Mukono, North-Namanve South lines high-voltage pylons, leading to massive power shortages.
