Police probe brutal killing of girl in Kakumiro

KAKUMIRO - The body of a six-year-old girl, bearing multiple panga wounds, has been found dumped in Isunga LC1, Kibijjo subcounty, Kakumiro.
The deceased, Joyce Tusemerirwe, was the daughter of Gideon Tumwesigye and Flavia Katushabe, residents of the same area.
According to her parents, Joyce and her two siblings had gone to collect firewood on Sunday when she was allegedly attacked and killed by an unidentified suspect.
At the time of reporting, police had handed the body over to the family for burial while investigations continued.
