Police in East Kyoga region have put in place stringent measures with a call on events organizers to ensure the safety of their guests for a peaceful marking of the Easter celebrations.
This was disclosed by SP John Robert Tukei, the Regional Community Liaison Officer (RCLO) East Kyoga in an exclusive interview with Etop Radio from his office.
Tukei says among these stringent measures include the deployment of both uniformed and non-uniform police officers in different places of worship, intensifying both motorized and non-motorized police patrols, traffic police on stand by and arresting and prosecuting lawbreakers.
He is optimistic that with security measures in place, the public in East Kyoga will have a peaceful Easter celebration.
