Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja met Kampala City Council Authority (KCCA) leaders and business owners in Nakivubo as she assessed the extent of damage caused by the recent floods that hit downtown Kampala following heavy rains.

The flooding, which submerged roads and business premises in areas such as Nakivubo, Kisenyi, and Katwe, disrupted transport and trade activities, leaving several traders counting losses worth millions of shillings. KCCA engineers and disaster response teams have been working to clear blocked drainage channels and restore normalcy.
