“For those that are not keen, you can check on page 67 of the graduation book. You will notice that I am graduating with a Master of Arts in Monitoring and Evaluation and this is in line with what I do,” Nabbanja said.

A total of 15 graduates will be awarded PhDs, 236 Masters, 185 post-graduate, 997 Bachelor degrees, 247 diplomas, and 177 certificates.

Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja is among the 1,856 graduates at Nkumba University's 25th graduation ceremony taking place today (Thursday) in Wakiso District. 

Nabbanja is graduating with a Master of Arts in Monitoring and Evaluation.

“For those that are not keen, you can check on page 67 of the graduation book. You will notice that I am graduating with a Master of Arts in Monitoring and Evaluation and this is in line with what I do,” Nabbanja said.

She said, “I started this course before I became the Prime Minister. By then I was a minister of state in charge of health.” 

At the same time, graduand Nabbanja is the chief guest.

In attendance is Gen. Katumba Wamala the Minister of Works and Transport who will be awarded an honorary doctorate and Raphael Magyezi the minister of local government among others.

You have been empowered to create jobs in your different service industries, go out there and do us proud,” Lubega said.

The University Chancellor Emmanuel Katongole revealed said about 20,000 graduates are released into the country’s business sector each year.
