KAGADI - A delegation of the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU), led by the Secretary General of the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU), Fadhil Twalla, and Bunyoro PLU leaders, on Tuesday (November 3) paid a special visit to Owobusobozi Bisaka at the Faith of Unity Headquarters in Kagadi District, with a call for massive grassroots mobilisation in support of Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba's Presidential bid in 2031.
The team was welcomed by Bisaka, the Faith of Unity Leader, at his Palace. Bisaka later guided the PLU team to a tour of their worship place, healing site, health center and learning Institutions of primary and secondary schools.
Bisaka applauded President Museveni for ushering in the rule of law, constitutional democracy, freedom of worship, unity and full independence for all Ugandans. He urged Bunyoro residents to massively support Gen. Muhoozi's presidential bid come 2031.
“I am happy to receive and hold developmental discussions with this big team of PLU whom I visited some time back in Kampala. It is my prayer that this cordial relationship continues as we mobilise for support of our beloved Gen. Muhoozi. As believers in the faith of unity, we are strongly behind him in his presidential bid come 2031,’’ said Bisaka.

Fadhil Twalla, the PLU National General Secretary, who was accompanied by Henry Basaliza, the National Deputy Director Mobilisation for PLU, said the visit has been a significant milestone in canvassing support for Gen. Muhoozi at the grassroots level.
Twalla pledged to carry out further mobilisation in other districts across the nation.
“It is our core mandate to mobilise the public, political, civil and cultural leaders towards the common cause. We do not want to return to past experiences of undemocratic leadership, despotic rule and unconstitutionalism. We are making steady progress, and we shall not allow anybody to destabilise our peaceful Uganda,’’ said Twalla. He appreciated the development programmes initiated by Bisaka to create wealth at the household level.
On his part, Basaliza rallied Bunyoro residents to support Muhoozi in order to maintain peace, unity, democracy and rule of law.
He reminded Bunyoro residents of vigorous campaigns by President Yoweri Museveni to create wealth at the household level through government programmes like the Parish Development Model and skilling the youth.
James Byarugaba, the PLU Coordinator for Kagadi District, expressed happiness over the overwhelming hospitality accorded to the PLU team.
Josias Tumukwasibwe, the PLU Chief Mobiliser for Bunyoro sub-region, rallied youth, women, and leaders to support Muhoozi, noting that grassroots mobilisation would go on in Bunyoro.
